Kinder Way Farm Sanctuary is a 501c3 nonprofit sanctuary for farmed animals, located in beautiful West Pawlet, VT. We care for approximately 100 rescued animals, including cows, pigs, horses, sheep, goats, chickens, geese, and ducks. We focus on helping animals with special needs, elderly, law enforcement seizures, and special circumstances.
Our journey began many years ago as a "traditional" farm on the eastern plains of Colorado. After a few years we decided to transform our animal "farm" into an animal "sanctuary." Fast forward to 2016, with a newborn baby, and 6 cross country trips, we made our big move to VT to grow food, help the community, and help more animals in need. After 6 years of evolution in VT, KWFS purchased the former Liebig Berry Farm, in West Pawlet, VT, in June of 2023! We have 7 acres of organic U Pick blueberries, as well as strawberries, flowers, and fresh seasonal produce. You can also find us at the Dorset Farmer's Market on Sundays with our berries:)
With your tax deductible donations, we can provide veterinary care, feed and bedding for the animals, improve infrastructure for animal housing, repair and build fencing for existing and future pasture areas, and help more animals in need. We need your help!
